Recent Progress with BCC-Structured High-Entropy Alloys

چکیده

High-entropy alloys (HEAs) prefer to form single-phase solid solutions (body-centered cubic (BCC), face-centered (FCC), or hexagonal closed-packed (HCP)) due their high mixing entropy. In this paper, we systematically review the mechanical behaviors and properties (such as oxidation corrosion) of BCC-structured HEAs. The at room temperature temperatures samples prepared by different processes (including vacuum arc-melting, powder sintering additive manufacturing) are compared, effect alloying on is analyzed. addition, effects HEA preparation compositional regulation corrosion resistance, application high-throughput techniques in field HEAs, discussed. To conclude, alloy development for HEAs summarized.
